Public speaking and presentation skills have been identified as the most important area of focus for anyone in a technical position. Since the pandemic, these skills are more needed than ever, especially when we are presenting in a virtual setting. Our positions have now become hybrids between in-person and online and we must consider the separate strategies needed to excel in both spaces. In this two hour workshop, you will:

  • Learn about the four technical communication profiles
  • Adapt and format information to meet the needs of each profile
  • Identify your stakeholders and explore their expectations
  • Implement personalized strategies to best present yourself, even if you don’t say a word

Presenter

Avnish Mehta, Principal
Stand and Command

Avnish works with technical leaders and helps them translate their methodologies into effective messaging. Working with many of the top performing companies in Canada, Avnish’s approach is deeply routed in research and data analysis. He believes that everyone needs to be an effective presenter and should be able to do so while being their authentic selves. His friendly, yet task focused facilitation style, will leave you with tools that can be implemented immediately.
